Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 18, 2026 Last updated: September 18, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how MedWave Group LLC ("MedWave", "we", "us") handles consumer health data collected through this website.

It applies to residents of Washington and Nevada, and to anyone whose consumer health data we collect in those states. We apply it to all US visitors as a matter of practice.

It sits alongside our general Privacy Policy, which covers all other personal information.

MedWave devices are general wellness products. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and we do not provide medical care, make diagnoses or hold medical records.

2. The categories of consumer health data we collect

Information about products you consider or buyWhich devices or packages you inquire about, and what you go on to buy directly from our team
Inferences drawn from your browsingWhich wellness topics you read about on our site — for example skin and appearance, muscle and joint comfort, or relaxation — and inferences an advertising partner may draw from that
Identifiers linked to the aboveName, email address, telephone number, IP address, cookie and device identifiers, where they are connected to any of the categories above

We do not collect, and ask you not to send us: diagnoses, medical records, test results, prescription or medication information, genetic or biometric data, information about reproductive or sexual health, or information about gender-affirming care.

3. Where it comes from

  • Directly from you — forms, bookings, email and telephone (this website does not take payments)
  • Automatically from your device — cookies and similar technologies, once you have consented
  • From our service providers — our booking and CRM platform, and our advertising partners

4. Why we collect it and how we use it

  • To answer your inquiry and send the information you asked for
  • To arrange and manage consultations and sessions
  • To supply and support the products you buy directly from our team
  • To send you marketing, where you have agreed to receive it
  • To understand which parts of our site are useful and improve them
  • To show you advertising on other platforms, and measure whether it worked — only where you have consented

We do not use consumer health data to make decisions about your eligibility for employment, insurance, credit or housing.

5. Who we share it with

6. Consent

We ask for your consent before collecting consumer health data for any purpose beyond providing the product or service you asked for, and we ask separately before sharing it with the advertising partners named above. Consent is requested clearly, in advance, and is never a condition of buying anything.

Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw at any time using the consent preferences control on this page — [cmplz-manage-consent] — or by emailing support@medwavegroup.com. Withdrawal applies going forward. It does not undo sharing that has already happened, and we will tell our partners to stop.

(Insert that shortcode where the control should appear when this policy is published.)

7. We do not sell consumer health data

We do not sell consumer health data, and we will not do so without your separate written authorization. MHMDA requires a specific signed authorization for any sale, distinct from the consent described above. We do not currently seek one.

8. Your rights

If you are a Washington or Nevada resident you have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are collecting, sharing or selling your consumer health data
  • Access that data, including a list of all third parties it has been shared with, and a way to contact each of them
  • Withdraw consent to its collection and sharing
  • Have it deleted, including from our backups and archives, and to have us tell our service providers and contractors to delete it too

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

9. How to exercise them

Contact: support@medwavegroup.com or write to MedWave Group LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States.

We will respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary, and will tell you if we extend. We will verify your identity first.

If we refuse, we will explain why and how to appeal. You may appeal by replying to our decision; we will answer within 45 days. If we deny the appeal we will give you a way to complain to the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.

10. Changes

We will post changes here and update the date above. If we make a material change to how we handle consumer health data already collected, we will obtain fresh consent where the law requires it.
